Back from the dead

It’s been a week, but the desktop is up and running. It appears the power supply killed the motherboard. Not sure what happened. I’m not that much of a tech. I did know enough to replace the power supply and the motherboard. It didn’t cost as much as I thought, but it did incur a cost. More importantly, FSP is about a week behind. Continue reading

The great PC crash of 2010

As I’m writing this on my laptop, I am staring at my desktop PC’s blank screen. The motherboard just died. Surprisingly, it was a quick death. There was the slightest sound that was cross between a pop and a hiss, then nothing. I scrutinized the connections, as a jeweler would a diamond.
