And now as I resurface from under my NaNoWriMo rock, it’s time to hit the ground running. That’s why I am happy to announce our nominees for 2012 Pushcart Prize. As this is our first year sending in nominations, we’re stoked to be participating not only this year, but in future years.
Deciding on this year’s candidates was no easy task. Many awesome works appeared this year and it was tough making a choice with so many strong contenders. It would be nice to be able to nominate everyone, but we have to play by the rules.
Because of the deadline for the Pushcart Prize nominations, we are going to change our publishing schedule a bit going forward; but I will save that for another post. This post is to recognize the authors below for their body of work and to wish them luck going forward in the Pushcart selection process. On behalf the First Step Press staff, we are honored to have your work represent our press. Good luck!
